We created GameSmart because we believe that in a global society- local games must be saved. You don’t always have to play by the rules; we followed our heart and went after emerging markets.
We think local games are the real culture in today’s new digital social world and we are looking to dominate social and mobile gaming in emerging market.
According to research firm SuperData, by 2015 there will be 106.7 million social gamers in Latin America and there will be US$505 million in revenues from social gaming in the region.
According to Niko Partners , the Chinese PC online gaming market has grown from $10 million in 2001 to more than $9 billion at the end of 2012. The market is expected to grow by $2billion a year in the next five years.
Not surprisingly, the largest market for social games in Latin America is Brazil. By 2015, SuperData projects that there will be 58.7 million Brazilian social gamers and that revenues from social gaming in Brazil will reach $257 million—basically half the total social gaming revenue pro.
